China Heat Pump Conference 2024

The 2024 China Heat Pump Conference (CHPC2024) was grandly held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China from August 27th to 30th. As a leading enterprise in the industry, SUNFLY made its debut at the 2024 China Heat Pump Conference. This conference invited a large number of industry leaders, experts and scholars from home and abroad, including Qiao Zhan, Deputy Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in China, Jiang Yuyang, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress, Jiang Yuyang, Chairman of the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology, Yan Jinyue, Academician of the European Academy of Humanities and Sciences, Wang Ruzhu, Chairman of the 2024 CHPC Academic Committee, and Min Soo Kim, Professor at Seoul National University in South Korea, to witness the holding of the “2024 China Heat Pump Conference”.

At the conference, SUNFLY, as a member unit of the “CHPC · China Heat Pump” conference of the Chinese Refrigeration Society, showcased multiple latest heat pump related products. In SUNFLY’s view, based on stability and safety considerations, air source heat pumps, as the main source of cooling and heating for household environments, can effectively meet the cooling and heating needs of indoor environments. However, the operational efficiency of air source heat pumps is often affected by external climate conditions, especially during the cold winter season when the heating capacity of the system may significantly decrease, and in the case of unstable power supply, the heat pump system may not operate normally. Therefore, SUNFLY suggests adopting a dual operation strategy that combines air source heat pumps with gas wall mounted boilers. On the one hand, gas wall mounted boilers can effectively compensate for the efficiency decline of air source heat pumps in low-temperature environments, ensuring the stability of domestic hot water supply throughout the year; On the other hand, SUNFLY has developed a multi energy complementary joint operation strategy based on energy costs (gas and electricity prices) and system efficiency (wall mounted boiler and heat pump efficiency), which ensures the safeand stable operation of the home environment system while maximizing economic benefits.
